The new Cochrane Transit Hub is more than just connecting transit users and pedestrians to where they need to go. When it opens in summer of 2022, it will support the COLT Transit System, Southland Region Transit Service On-It, local taxis, cyclists, and pedestrians. The Transit Hub will also feature administrative services for the town, the visitor information centre, business development & community partner spaces, public washrooms, and a co-working space & business start-up program. The Transit Hub is the first major thrust of the tri-site plan for downtown public land & once completed, will give downtown Cochrane an increased presence.
