Western Archrib glulam offers home builders and building suppliers an alternative to LVL. Available in I-joist-compatible depths including 9¼″, 9½″, 11⅞″, 14″ and 16″, 18", 20", 24" and common wall framing widths such as 3½″, 5½″, and 7¼″ our glulam works with readily available, off-the-shelf hangers and connections.

Supplied wrapped and sealed with an industrial finish, it arrives ready for the jobsite and is available in 20f-E/CSP1 Spruce Pine, as well as 24f V4 and 24f V8 Douglas Fir.

What are glulam beams?

Glue Laminated Timber (glulam) is made by adhesively joining multiple layers of high grade dimensional lumber to create stock beams or billets, offering strength and durability for construction projects. Stock Glulam beams are a great choice for structural building components and can be used in similar applications as an LVL.

Configurations and Sizes

Western Archribs’ stock glulam beams, or billets, are available in various standard-sized beams (3 1/8″, 5 1/8″, 6 7/8", and 8 1/2″) for quicker shipments and deliveries to your job site, currently offering a 4 week delivery from time of deposit.

Available on a 4 week turnaround, layup with length options from 16 to 64 feet*. All stock glue laminated beams have an “Architectural or Sanded finish” and are made from a choice of Spruce Pine or Douglas Fir.
