Product Storage Arches
Large span product storage buildings typically use a ground-to-ground arch structure. This makes for very high capacity and efficient structures.
Arch structures engage wood in a favorable property of compression. This makes for very high capacity and efficient structures. WAR has been designing these buildings since its incorporation, and has in-house experts who can design from the ground up. Since wood is inert to salt and many other corrosive substances, it is the primary choice for potash and salt storage facilities. Beams up to 150' in length were used for arches; the largest beams Western Archrib produces.
