Malahat Skywalk

Malahat, BC

The Malahat Skywalk is an accessible 600m treetop walk through forests leading to a spectacular gentle spiral ramp, taking you up 32m to a lookout point offering views of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Peninsula, Mount Baker, and the Distant Coast Mountains

This accessible and architecturally stunning treetop walk located off the Malahat Highway provides a new perspective on southern Vancouver Island. An extensive walkway leads through the arbutus forest & over natural features, leading to the timber viewing tower. The top of the timber viewing tower offerings incredible views of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Peninsula, Mount Baker, Salt Spring Island, and the distant Coast Mountains.

All elements of the Malahat Skywalk are being carefully designed to create a stunning sightseeing and cultural attraction in southern Vancouver Island. The setting on the traditional territory of the Malahat Nation offers opportunities for storytelling, cultural celebration, and interpretive education.
