Machine Operator - Grading

Overview:
We are currently looking to fill a Machine Operator position a tour new Sturgeon County facility. The candidate for this position must have experience in industrial machine operation and production or assembly line experience. We will provide specific job training onsite.
Duties will include:
- Setting-up and operating equipment in the lumber grading area.
- Entry of production batch data into machine controls/HMI.
- Monitor production line during operation.
- Clean and care for equipment and workspace.
- Ensuring quality control, safety standards and safe work practices are met to the highest standard.
- Maintain records and track equipment inventory and supplies.
- Collaborate with and assist other teams to deliver exceptional products for clients.

Work Schedule:
- Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7 am - 3 pm.
- Hours subject to change, overtime may be required.
Wage:
- Wage ranges from $22 - $25 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements:
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to lift to up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for duration of shift.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work 40 hours a week.
- Must have Standard CSA approved Steel toed boots.
- Experience in operating industrial machines and working on production lines is an asset.
