Writing-on-Stone Visitor Centre rises from the prairie and welcomes visitors to one the most sacred aboriginal places in the world. The vision was to create an environmentally sustainable building which seamlessly integrates its natural surroundings with the spiritual communion within the centre. The design focuses on natural light and ventilation—and articulates a relationship with the park's beautiful views of the Milk River Valley and Sweetgrass Hills of Montana.
