Winnipeg Humane Society

The Winnipeg Humane Society Shelter is a beautiful expression of compassion and forward thinking. The goal of the designers was to create a tranquil, architectural character where both animals and people would thrive. Influenced by our natural environment, massive Glulam beams were chosen to achieve the perfect balance of strength and harmony. Built to handle more than 10,000 animals annually, the shelter is the first of it’s kind in Canada to achieve Gold LEED Certification.
